About This Policy

This policy explains what personal information Paired Inc. collects when you visit pairedinc.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Paired Inc is a web design and hosting company based in Carmel, Indiana.

It covers pairedinc.com only. The sites we build and host for clients have their own privacy policies.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • What you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, and message when you fill out a contact form or email us.
  • What your browser shares, if you accept cookies. Your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, approximate location, and how long you stay. This comes from cookies and similar technologies.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records basic request data, such as IP address, time, and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies and Tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site and the Meta Pixel to measure our marketing. Both are loaded through Google Tag Manager.

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. Until you accept, we do not load Google Tag Manager, so Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel do not run. If you decline or close the banner, they stay off.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline.

We remember your choice in a cookie named sccb_consent for about six months. That cookie is necessary for the banner to work and does not track you. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the site footer.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions and project inquiries
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our website and services
  • Understand how visitors use the site and which marketing works
  • Keep the site secure and prevent abuse
  • Meet legal obligations

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:

  • Google and Meta, through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, but only if you accept cookies. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
  • Service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host and email provider.
  • Authorities or advisors when the law requires it or when we need to protect our rights.
  • A buyer, if Paired Inc is ever sold or merged, as part of that transaction.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you live in California, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it
  • Delete the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Stop sharing your information for cross-context behavioral advertising, which the law calls opting out of “sharing”

The Meta Pixel and similar advertising tools can count as “sharing” under California law. We load them only after you accept cookies. To opt out at any time, decline in the banner, use the Cookie settings link in the footer, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or email us.

We will not treat you differently for using these rights. We respond to verified requests within 45 days, and you can use an authorized agent to make a request for you. Residents of Indiana and other states with privacy laws may have similar rights, and we honor requests from all visitors the same way.

Retention and Security

We keep contact messages as long as we need them to respond and keep normal business records. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in our Google account. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell or share it. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Visitors Outside the United States

pairedinc.com is operated from the United States and is intended for visitors here. If you visit from another country, your information is processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a material change, we will post a notice on the site.
